This book probably is the best I've read this year. I would recommend Liminal Thinking to anyone who is endeavoring to bring about or inspire change in themselves, others or society; people like teachers, therapists, coaches, entrepreneurs, politicians, creative artists, designers, etc. This book is comprehensive in that the first section details the principles of liminal thinking and the second section explains practices of liminal thinking. Though the name may be new, liminal thinking has been around for a while. The roots of liminal thinking are very characteristic of liminal thinking itself. It has diverse influences from Jainism and Buddhism, the Pragmatist school of American philosophy to the nonviolent resistance ideas of Gandhi, MLK and Marshall Rosenberg. In these sharply politically divisive times, this book is a great source to inspire and bring in to practice ways of thinking that will serve to heal the world by creating understanding and connection rather than further polarizing it. As a footnote, I bought the Kindle version. I'm a graphic designer and I can say that this is one of the few books I've purchased that seems to be designed for the Kindle, unlike many other books which aren't designed for Kindle and have many irregularities and awkwardnesses in them. Liminal thinking is the art of creating change by understanding, shaping and re-framing beliefs.A belief, in general, seems like a perfect representation of te world, but, in fact, they are only imperfect models. Beliefs are constructed hierarchically using theories and judgments who are based on selected facts and personal subjective experiences. We need beliefs as they create a shared world so we can live together, work together and do things together. The book explains how people are simplifying reality in order to make it easier to understand, and there is nothing wrong with it, it is even essential beliefs creates blind spots, which blind you from other possibilities. The same boundaries that make it possible for us to think also limit what we can conceive.Beliefs are defending themselves, using a bubble of self-sealing logic, even when they are invalid to protect personal identity. Why is understanding beliefs and the solution liminal thinking so important? When people confuse their beliefs with reality, they get into arguments and conflicts, sometimes even warsIn the second part of the book, Dave Gray comes with 9 practices to minimise reality distortion, envision possibilities and create a positive changeShould you need to read this book? YES!Next time you are in a discussion or you feel something is not right, try to understand the beliefs of the component first. It opens an alternative view of reality and it will give you an advantage to your success Read Online Liminal Thinking: Create the Change You Want by Changing the Way You Think Download Liminal Thinking: Create the Change You Want by Changing the Way You Think Liminal Thinking: Create the Change You Want by Changing the Way You Think PDF Liminal Thinking: Create the Change You Want by Changing the Way You Think Mobi Free Reading Liminal Thinking: Create the Change You Want by Changing the Way You Think Download Free Pdf Liminal Thinking: Create the Change You Want by Changing the Way You Think PDF Online Liminal Thinking: Create the Change You Want by Changing the Way You Think Mobi Online Liminal Thinking: Create the Change You Want by Changing the Way You Think Reading Online Liminal Thinking: Create the Change You Want by Changing the Way You Think Read Online Dave Gray Download Dave Gray Dave Gray PDF Dave Gray Mobi Free Reading Dave Gray Download Free Pdf Dave Gray PDF Online Dave Gray Mobi Online Dave Gray Reading Online Dave GrayBest Trump: The Good, The Bad & The Quotable By Beyond Books Editors
